Work & Payroll
Enter your most recent (or next) payday and pay frequency to see your upcoming paycheck dates.
These two get confused constantly, but they're not the same schedule. Biweekly means every 2 weeks, always on the same weekday, producing 26 paychecks a year (occasionally 27) with two 3-paycheck months annually. Semimonthly means twice a month on fixed calendar days — most commonly the 1st and 15th, or the 15th and last day of the month — producing exactly 24 paychecks a year, always two per month, but on a weekday that shifts around.
This tool projects the raw schedule forward; it doesn't know your employer's specific rule for what happens when a payday lands on a weekend or bank holiday (most shift it to the preceding business day, some to the following one). Treat dates that land on a Saturday or Sunday as needing that adjustment.
